Edward Hopper is acknowledged as the most important American realist painter of the 20th C. His work demonstrates that realism is not merely a literal or photographic copying of what we see, but an interpretive rendering. At 40, Hopper was a failure who couldn’t sell a painting. Join us to learn how that changed!
