Trip to Island of Tabarca, Alicante

September 12 All day

Eleven nautical miles off the coast of Alicante, Tabarca is the only inhabited island in the region of Valencia. The islands waters are officially declared Mediterranean Marine Reserve for their excellent quality and biodiversity of their flora and fauna. It has a rich cultural heritage as well as beaches and coves to explore and of course, many opportunities to sample it’s seafood!! Tabarca Article on Wikipedia.

Itinerary: Leave Calpe 10.30, On island 13h – 16/16.30h, arrive Calpe approximately 18.30h. The ferry from Alicante takes approximately 1 hour.

Please note that no arrangements have been made for eating during this visit. There are several restaurants and cafes on the island and this will give travellers the option that suits them best. The website for the island shows many of them, should you want to book a table in advance.
