Calpe Open Mic is hosted by the duo Elderberry Wine (Mark and Liz) and meets every Wednesday from 7pm at Cafe Bar Club de Tenis in Calpe.
Admission is by voluntary contribution which includes a raffle ticket for prizes. We save the money to fund a UK professional act once a year to come over for a concert.
Musicians and singers are invited to perform, to show off their talents. An average evening would be eight different performances in each half. This results in a variety of styles and genres of music, country, folk, blues, vintage pop etc. making an interesting and enjoyable experience for our audiences.
Strictly live music, no backing tracks, however if someone wants to sing, musicians will be willing to accompany them.
The food is great, plenty of parking.
